My Birthday Message

Today is my birthday. I’m 84, born on June the 28th, 1942. It was a Sunday, and there have only been 12 Sundays since then, when it’s been my birthday, and this is one of them.

Every year, before or on my birthday, I make a list of the things I’m grateful for, and it’s a very long list. I have a great many things to be grateful for, not least the fact I’m alive and well. I’m going to spare you the details, some are very personal, but the purpose of speaking now is to thank you.

The people who support me and watch my videos, who subscribe to my substack, YouTube channel, and podcast really help me. Your interest is encouraging. The fact you take an interest in my research, my dialogues and videos, my ideas and essays, is why I do them… and it’s a big part of my life. I greatly enjoy doing them, but if you all weren’t out there, there wouldn’t be any point.

So the simple message from me on my birthday is, thank you.
